Dr Annabel Chan
President of APATAP, Clinical and Forensic Psychologist

Annabel, a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, has 16 years of global clinical and leadership experience, including working in prisons, hospitals, universities, and private practices. As a threat assessment and management consultant, she provides risk assessment, supervision, training, and case consultation to universities, corporations, and government agencies. Annabel is also a Consultant Psychologist for the Children's Court Clinic of Victoria and an Approved Private Practitioner for Youth Justice. Her psychotherapy work focuses on providing a safe space for marginalised communities, including LGBTQIA+, QTBIPOC, and neurodivergent individuals. Annabel also provides pro-bono support to the Queer Refugees and Asylum Seekers Peers program of Many Coloured Sky. Her work is further guided by her lived experiences as a queer, neurodivergent, vegan, Chinese migrant.
